About the role
To continue this momentum, we are hiring a senior Sales Development Representative. This role will help us scale the GTM engine that takes us to $10M and beyond in revenue.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial outreach to potential customers via email, phone, and social channels (LinkedIn)
- Collaborating with the Account Executive team to ensure a smooth handoff for qualified leads
- Learning and developing an in-depth understanding of GovEagle’s product and industry, becoming an expert in AI/LLM technology
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a sales or lead generation role (preferably in a B2B SaaS startup)
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach via email, phone, and social platforms
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
- A self-starter who’s excited about the challenge of building pipeline and finding creative ways to reach new prospects
- A collaborative team player who’s eager to partner with engineers, sales, and marketing
- Bonus: Familiarity with the government contracting space
Qualifications
- Generating qualified leads and contributing to pipeline growth
- Meting and exceeding monthly and quarterly meeting/lead generation targets
- Becoming an expert on GovEagle’s product and clearly articulating its value to prospects
