Sr. Sales Associate

About the Role

Primary responsibility is to provide excellent service to our customers while striving to meet or exceed all store goals and company business initiatives. Associates will handle a variety of tasks throughout a typical work day as directed by the store management team. SR Sales Associates will have additional POS and Back Office responsibilities, including processing refunds/exchanges, S2H orders, and Customer Pickup orders.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and adherence to company service standards.
• Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to serve, and stay well-informed about products and promotions.
• Promote company rewards programs and other business initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions and ensure merchandise presentation meets standards.
• Keep stock well-arranged, properly merchandised, and maintain cleanliness and organization in all store areas.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Stay aware of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
• Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and help with merchandise placement on the sales floor.
• Process all sales and POS terminal transactions according to policy, including checking shoes for mates and handling refunds/exchanges.
• Perform additional Back Office tasks such as processing S2H and Customer Pickup orders.

Requirements

• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and employees at all levels.
• Basic communication (verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.

Pay
