Responsibilities
- Guide customers strategically through the complete ERP implementation lifecycle, from discovery and planning through deployment and post-implementation support.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand business requirements, operational challenges, workflows, and future objectives.
- Create detailed documentation including requirements analysis, business process evaluations, implementation plans, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Lead project scoping, planning, business process mapping, configuration sessions, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by providing guidance to internal teams and customer stakeholders throughout implementation projects.
- Deliver engaging training sessions through virtual, phone, or in-person formats to ensure successful user adoption.
- Support data migration activities, system configuration, testing processes, and process optimization initiatives.
- Provide timely and professional customer support by troubleshooting issues and recommending effective solutions.
- Participate in sales discussions, demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations as a software expert when needed.
- Lead or support consulting teams during customer engagements, ensuring project milestones and objectives are achieved.
- Maintain strong communication with customers through project meetings, status updates, and ongoing collaboration.
- Travel occasionally to client locations as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Sage 100 consultant or 5+ years implementing comparable ERP solutions such as Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics GP, IQMS, Oracle E-Business Suite, Infor, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong experience with ERP implementation methodologies, project scoping, requirements gathering, planning, and business process mapping.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality delivery.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, manufacturing operations, inventory management, sales workflows, and business practices.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, accounting systems, US GAAP, and financial reporting concepts.
- Experience leading configuration sessions, user acceptance testing, training programs, and customer workshops.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM platforms, and business productivity tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel when required.
- Passion for ERP consulting, technology, and developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
