Sr. ROW/Land Representative
About the Role
TRC Companies is looking for a SR. ROW/Land Representative to support our Field Solutions team. The Sr. ROW Agent, under the direction of the Lead Agent or ROW Supervisor, possesses an excellent working knowledge of all right of way disciplines, title, permitting, acquisition, documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide ROW and real estate support for Senior Right of Way Agents working on Transmission & Distribution line projects in New Hampshire.
- Must be responsible, organized, self-motivated, willing to learn and a team-player.
- Support ROW Specialists with City/Town records research, Registry of deeds and probate research, Eversource easement research and analysis, and more.
- Vendor will work with appraisers, estimators, and others to determine land, timber and other values.
- Real property and rights document preparation to include deeds, easements, purchase and sale agreements and other agreements as assigned.
- Closing and recording purchases, landowner negotiations, and project support.
- Regular submission of reports in the form of project summary spreadsheets and transaction notices.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred or relevant experience.
- SR/WA or other IRWA Designation.
- Notary Public.
- A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is necessary as research, or closings may entail travel to various NH cities or towns.
- Experience is required in work related to right of way or real estate services provided to public organizations.
- Broad knowledge of procedures used to acquire real property interests for public utility/infrastructure projects including condemnation.
- Knowledgeable with laws and regulations involving real estate transactions and Eminent Domain.
Skills
- Technical: Experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position, proficient in Microsoft Office products, detail-oriented, and excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly and concisely to prepare reports, specifications, applications, and correspondence.
- People: Able to interact with all levels of management and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Physical, Environmental, and Mental Requirements
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, use good judgment when lifting or moving office supplies and/or furniture, and seek assistance or wear back support appliances when appropriate.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus in use of computer monitor and other manual, task-related functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel objects, tools, controls, reach with hands and arms, hear and talk, and stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $75,400.00 - USD $78,000.00 /Yr.
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
