About the role

The Worldwide Logistics Insurance group is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Risk Manager. The ideal candidate will be familiar with insurance and claims programs, and insurance policies, have a history of success in process improvement, have experience in vendor lifecycle management, and understand institutional program design and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of vendor relationships, from process implementation to performance evaluation and improvement.
  • Support document management and compliance.
  • Clearly define and uphold performance standards based on organizational and team goals.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements across the entire auto claims program and all lines of business.
  • Effectively communicate recommended risk mitigation strategies and program/process improvements to cross-functional and internal leadership teams.
  • Support finance forecasting, reporting, and accounting processes.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

Skills

Expertise in liability and insurance, excellent analytical skills, and business acumen to deliver results. Willingness to obsess over customers and work backward from their needs to create best-in-class processes. Ability to leverage trusting relationships with external partners and internal business operations to create excellent outcomes.
