Sr. Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist (H)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Central Business Office is seeking a full-time Senior Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist (H) to join their team in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized feedback and recommendations to relevant senior staff.
• Maintains knowledge of local, national, and federal coding and billing regulations.
• Serves as primary UHealth liaison for governmental and commercial payer audits.
• Reviews and analyzes documentation to support acceptable billing and documentation practices.
• Prepares logs and statistical reports of review findings and appropriately disseminates information.
• Gives technical and educational assistance to junior staff members and the Revenue Cycle teams.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.
