Program Management
Complete CITI Biomedical Research and IRB training, and other training related to finance and budget management, and use of marketing and communication tools.
Independently oversee day-to-day operations of the R3 programs, including educational initiatives, budgeting, content build and delivery, and scheduling and coordination with internal and external partners.
Apply advanced knowledge of program management to optimize personnel development, fiscal and departmental operations, performance improvement, and program development.
Collaborate with R3 team and other internal and external partners to assess needs of target audience, create program content and delivery method, analyze program deliverables and outcomes, and to make adjustments as needed.
Organize and schedule monthly R3 team meetings, Coordinating Council, National Advisory Board, and other meetings as needed. Create invitations, track participation, prepare and disseminate materials, create minutes and follow up on action items.
Manage contracts and agreements with contractors, vendors, venues, etc. Coordinate with appropriate departments in the approval, execution, and payment of contract and agreements.
Manage, arrange and coordinate R3 events, including participating in content development, scheduling dates and locations, recruiting participants, setting and managing a budget, selecting vendors, preparing and distributing materials and technological requirements.
Manage the various shared resources and documents for the R3 Programs. Create and maintain systems for tracking participation, and data collection.
Assess and analyze reports & program outcomes and recommend improvements and actions based on analysis.
Coordinate/collaborate of partnerships across schools, universities, hospitals, MNRC and other nursing/healthcare leaders to meet R3 program goals. This will include routine engagement with all partners to address program outcomes, foster problem solving, and strategic decision-making.
Maintain and update R3 the website including a repository of resources and manage and provide support for website content updates.
Response to inquiries and create plan for regular updates in collaboration with JHUSON Marcom.
Develop the annual podcast calendar with the PI, schedule, coordinate, and collaborate with JHUSON Marcom to produce, deploy and evaluate impact.
Collaborate with the project and curriculum/instructional design teams to develop and deploy educational programs on the LMS platform or other formats.
Design, develop, and implement evidence-based educational programs and materials including workshops, webinars, and conference sessions. Modify educational initiatives to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Serve in role of Nurse Planner to create educational activities in accordance with ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development Standards.
Coordinate with Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing to maintain accreditation standards and records as needed.
Conduct literature review, prepare manuscripts for submission to journals, track progress, and contribute to scholarly initiatives within scope of expertise.
Work with project team to prepare, submit, and revise scholarly manuscripts for publication or other dissemination.
Apply strong writing skills to draft, proofread and edit a variety of materials including written correspondence, presentation materials, agendas etc.; draft/edit communications, review and disseminate to intended population.
Supervise grant budget management and financial functions, ensuring that tasks are completed in accordance with institutional policies and procedures. Maintain records of expenditure within university policies.
Collaborate with budget analysts to monitor and analyze budget and assets, and to assure accurate allocation of expenditures.
Assign and oversee duties of FWS student, including scheduling and timecard approval.
Qualifications
- Individual must be a registered nurse, licensed in the State of Maryland or state where practicing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related discipline required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Minimum of two years experience in the specialty or a related area.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC).
- Managerial experience in operations or project and people management role or related experience.
- Experience working with IRB approved research studies.
- Expertise in technical aspects of learning management systems, data management, and communication platforms.
