Sr. Research Laboratory Technician - Part time

About the role

The Sr. Research Laboratory Technician performs advanced technical activities related to laboratory research projects and clinical trials within the department. This role aids scientists by monitoring and recording study findings and supports laboratory operations in compliance with safety regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Downloads, enters, and regulates data while maintaining quality assurance.
• Contributes to report writing and graphical presentation of data.
• Monitors inventory of equipment and supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Maintains laboratory facilities and equipment in compliance with safety regulations and policies.
• Prepares reports on project status and risk assessments.
• Completes all required documentation for laboratory requests.
• Schedules laboratory work based on project priorities to meet deadlines.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures, safeguarding University assets.
• Cares for and maintains all cell line collections in the lab.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience, certification, or license.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
