Sr. Research Data Analyst (Health Policy and Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Research Data Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain a database for study data for multiple studies.
• Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.
• Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis.
• Develop data models.
• Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical studies.
• Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts.
• Wrangle and analyze Electronic Health Record data and other real-world data including health insurance claims.
• Apply best practices for real-world evidence principles, including bias, confounding, and study design considerations.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• One year of related experience.
• Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in coding and data wrangling with SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis.
• Experience with econometrics techniques.
• Experience with health cost related data sets.
