About the role
We are seeking a Senior Research Data Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain a database for study data for multiple studies.
- Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.
- Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis.
- Develop data models.
- Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical studies.
- Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts.
- Wrangle and analyze Electronic Health Record data and other real-world data including health insurance claims.
- Apply best practices for real-world evidence principles, including bias, confounding, and study design considerations.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- One year of related experience.
- Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.
Qualifications
- PhD in a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in coding and data wrangling with SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis.
- Experience with econometrics techniques.
- Experience with health cost related data sets.
