Sr. Regional Advisor Consultant- B/D (DC, Southern MD, VA)

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent Columbia's products and drive sales in the assigned territory
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales goals
• Identify client needs and provide tailored investment solutions
• Conduct training sessions and seminars for financial advisors
• Research market trends and communicate changes affecting product positioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years in mutual fund/separate account wholesaling or supporting a wholesaler
• In-depth knowledge and experience with mutual funds and separate accounts
• Proven ability to deliver impactful sales presentations
• Self-driven, adaptable to manage territory autonomously
• Experience with separate managed accounts
• Established relationships in the financial advisory channel
• Series 7 and required state registrations or ability to obtain them
