Sr Recruiter (Contract)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Recruiter to join our client's team on a 1099 contract basis. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, supporting the company's hiring needs across various departments and functions. Your expertise in corporate, healthcare, technical, and scientist recruiting will be essential in building a talented and diverse workforce.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite in Pasadena, CA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs and requirements
- Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates
- Provide exceptional candidate experience and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the recruitment process and metrics
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Recruiter, with a proven track record of success in filling technical roles
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, clinical, or high-tech industries and experience recruiting for a range of roles, including general business, healthcare, and technical positions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers
- Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems and other recruitment-related software
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience

Pay
Competitive hourly rate of $60–$70 per hour as a 1099 independent contractor. The final pay rate will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview process or project scope discussion.
