About the role
We are a global leader in food and beverage manufacturing with more than 1,500 employees worldwide, including approximately 1,300 team members across our Indianapolis production and operations facilities. Our Indianapolis campus supports large scale production, quality systems, food safety programs, supplier verification, and continuous improvement initiatives for customers throughout the global food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, verification, and continuous improvement of quality systems across our Indianapolis operations to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee audit readiness and audit execution, including verification activities, corrective actions, and long term system improvements
- Partner with operations, engineering, and food safety teams to evaluate system performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements that strengthen quality culture on the production floor
- Support global supplier verification activities and collaborate with international partners to ensure alignment with our quality expectations
- Provide leadership and direction to a small quality systems team, with potential to expand into broader food safety or quality leadership responsibilities based on performance
Requirements
- Experience working within a large international or global company with mature, structured quality systems
- Strong understanding of how quality systems function on the production floor and how to influence operators, engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Background in food safety, regulatory compliance, and supplier quality within a high volume manufacturing environment
- Strong preference for experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem solving
- Rare domestic travel with occasional international exposure to support supplier and partner audits
- Demonstrated success guiding teams, improving system performance, and driving quality culture in a complex, fast-moving environment
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Food Science, Engineering)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a large international or global company
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

$130,000 - $150,000 + 10% Bonus
