Sr. Quality Improvement Specialist - RN

About the Role

The Senior Quality Improvement Specialist works directly with organizational leaders and multidisciplinary teams to support clinical improvement projects. The role assists new co-workers in the application of quality management concepts and tools and serves as a subject matter expert in quality management. The senior specialist develops work plans or project plans for clinical improvement projects and makes recommendations for change in practice to improve quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical improvement projects in collaboration with organizational leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist new co-workers in applying quality management concepts and tools.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in quality management.
• Develop work plans or project plans for clinical improvement projects.
• Make recommendations for changes in practice to improve quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed in state of practice will be considered.
• 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

Preferred: Master's degree.
