About the role
A hands-on, customer-facing position within a fast-growing global automotive supplier. The Senior Quality Engineer serves as the manufacturing and quality expert, collaborating across departments and with customers during new-product development and APQP.
Responsibilities
- Lead process development and APQP for new products, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Initiate and maintain customer interface; create and update APQP documents (FMEA, Control Plans, Flow Diagrams) following AIAG and customer-specific procedures.
- Prepare and submit PPAP documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in plant scrap, process capability, and quality cost.
- Address customer concerns through corrective actions, action plans, and customer-specific reporting.
- Maintain and improve the quality management system to comply with IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 14001, and customer-specific standards.
- Partner with production and engineering teams on quality-related issues.
- Generate quality reports and action plans for executive management and customers.
- Collaborate with other Minth facilities to ensure system continuity across locations.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
- Strong engineering background with knowledge of roll forming, bending, welding processes, and testing requirements.
- Auditing certification for IATF 16949, VDA, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Training in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, D/PFMEA, Control Plan).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Plex, Minitab, Project, Visio, and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (20–25%).

- Multilingual ability (Mandarin, Spanish, German) is a plus.
