Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing an organizational wide quality management program for FLDRN
- Ensuring the organization’s compliance with internal policies and procedures and all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational performance improvement
- Collaborating with the Executive Director, Medical Director and departmental Directors/Managers on the organization’s quality assurance processes
- Conducting ongoing monitoring of internal and external process occurrences for trend analyses
- Performing a variety of tasks in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Preparation of site surveys and audits by regulatory agencies such as CMS, AOPO, UNOS, and FDA
Requirements
- Minimum Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in health administration, nursing or other health care related field required. Master's degree preferred. 5 years relevant experience required. Prior experience working in an OPO, quality department, quality role preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills preferred. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common industry-related journals, financial reports, and legal documents preferred. Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from clients, regulatory agencies or members of the business community preferred. Ability to effectively write reports and articles that conform to appropriate style and format preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Six-Sigma training preferred.
Qualifications
Attends all relevant FLDRN meetings and assists with the accomplishment of the mission. Works in a collaborative fashion with the leadership team. Ensures staff competency in all areas as appropriate.
