Sr. Quality Assurance Lead

TriCom is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Lead to support a major ERP implementation initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead the organization's first dedicated QA function, establish best practices in testing, and drive quality across ERP modules, integrations, and business processes.

About the role

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in software quality assurance and a passion for coaching teams, implementing testing frameworks, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, process leads, developers, and ERP teams to create a disciplined and scalable testing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP testing across modules, integrations, releases, and go-live activities.
• Establish QA processes, documentation standards, and defect management practices.
• Coach business users and project teams on test planning, execution, and issue reporting.
• Oversee end-to-end, integration, regression, UAT, API, and database testing.
• Track progress, communicate results, and advise stakeholders on quality risks and next steps.
• Identify opportunities for automated regression testing and future QA tools.
• Build and shape the organization's first dedicated QA function.
• Influence testing strategy and quality standards across the enterprise.
• Partner closely with business and technology leaders.
• Help define future automation capabilities and the selection of testing tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, business analysis, software development, or a combination of related experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise application implementations or large-scale business system projects.
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and defect documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.
• Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Familiarity with automated regression testing strategies and tools.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Background in software development or business analysis.
