Sr QC Associate

Position Overview We are partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer to place a Senior QC Associate on its Quality Control team. In this role, you will carry out and coordinate analytical testing for drug substances and finished drug products, working in one or more specialty lab areas such as chromatography and electrophoresis, potency and binding assays, residual impurities, physicochemical testing, microbiology and environmental monitoring, raw materials, or packaging. Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $38.75 - $41.50/hr Type: 1-year contract Location: Onsite in Fremont, CA What You’ll Do Independently perform three to five analytical test methods built on different scientific principles, with minimal oversight.Coordinate sampling and testing of raw materials and, where applicable, clean room environments.Handle routine lab upkeep, including buffer preparation, equipment maintenance, and cleaning.Author and revise test methods, specifications, plans, reports, forms, and SOPs.Document all work in line with cGMP and cGDP standards.Review analytical data, trend results, and flag out-of-trend findings.Spot discrepancies, make sure they are properly investigated, and help drive root causes to resolution.Report abnormalities and deviations promptly and accurately.Troubleshoot moderately complex method and testing issues with compliant, practical solutions.Keep lab areas organized to 5S standards and escalate unsafe conditions or habits. What We’re Looking For Education and experience (one of the following):High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years in a cGMP regulated industry.Associate degree with 4 years in a cGMP regulated industry.Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field with 2+ years in a cGMP regulated industry.Prior QC experience is preferred.Hands-on experience with analytical techniques relevant to biopharmaceutical manufacturing.Solid grounding in analytical chemistry or analytical testing as applied to biologics.Proven ability to review, analyze, and interpret scientific data.Comfort reading SOPs and methods and documenting work under cGMP/GDP standards.
