Sr. QA Automation Test Engineer - PEGA RPA
About the role
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Test Engineer to design and develop automated test scripts using various automation and scripting tools. This role involves refining acceptance criteria, executing automated tests for IT changes, conducting code reviews, and promoting test automation best practices within the engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts.
- Refined acceptance criteria into automated acceptance test cases and scripts.
- Execute automated test scripts and individual tests to support IT changes.
- Conduct test automation code reviews and promote best practices.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide status updates on assigned work items and collaborate with the team to remove impediments.
- Owning quality throughout the sprint, developing and executing comprehensive test coverage, and supporting production readiness.
- Manage defects and perform root cause analysis.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in PEGA RPA and 7+ years of overall testing experience.
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and release validation is necessary.
- Proficiency in PEGA RPA is mandatory.
- Knowledge of test automation principles.
- Familiarity with Java or Python programming languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud technologies.

- Ability to work independently and identify procedural irregularities.
- A high level of accuracy and sound judgment in decision-making.
