About the role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand their needs and develop test cases that cover all aspects of the product. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Collaborate with development teams to define test scenarios and requirements
• Execute automated tests and track bugs through the entire lifecycle of the product
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and efficiency
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices in automation testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in QA Automation, including hands-on experience with at least one major automation tool
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration testing
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of API testing and RESTful services
• Experience with performance testing and load testing
• Experience with DevOps tools and technologies (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Automation testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, etc.)

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
