Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Python to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for optimized solutions.
- Design and maintain Snowflake tasks streams and pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
- Optimize Snowflake SQL queries for performance and reliability in large-scale data environments.
- Implement and manage Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion and processing workflows.
- Provide technical expertise in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to ensure system stability and performance.
- Document technical processes and workflows to maintain clarity and consistency across projects.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data security governance and compliance standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving data solutions and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and Python technologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering impactful data solutions that drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in Snowflake SQL, Snowflake Streams, Snowflake Tasks, and Snowpipe for data processing and integration.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and workflow optimization.
- Have a solid understanding of data architecture principles and best practices for scalable solutions.
- Show excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
- Show experience in hybrid work environments collaborating with teams both remotely and on-site.
- Show strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or software development with a maximum of 12 years.
- Show familiarity with data security and governance standards to ensure compliance.
- Showcase ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- Show commitment to delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.
- Show adaptability to learn and implement new technologies as required.
- Show ability to identify and resolve issues in data workflows.
