Responsibilities

  • Facilitates effective communication regarding provider compensation matters with relevant stakeholders.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and communicates compensation-related insights to leadership, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Manages provider compensation data using relevant software systems and tools.
  • Completes accurate provider compensation calculations and payment requests within specified timelines and contractual terms.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to HR, finance, and management on provider compensation matters.
  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization and streamlining within the provider compensation function.
  • Assists in the design and implementation of compensation plans, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzes the impact and cost projections of provider compensation programs, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and review provider contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compensation terms.
  • Assists in the preparation of budgets and monitors budget variances, ensuring financial accountability.
  • Maintains accurate and secure storage of compensation data and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools, including predictive modeling, regression analysis, and scenario planning, to support evidence-based compensation decisions. [Required]
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Alternative Payment Models (APMs) and their implications on provider compensation. [Required]
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successfully aligning provider incentives with organizational goals and quality metrics. [Required]
  • Experience in leading change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during the implementation of new compensation strategies. [Required]
  • Exceptional presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex compensation concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and providers. [Required]
  • Familiarity with global compensation practices and their impact on international recruitment and provider retention strategies. [Required]
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms to automate compensation processes, enhance data accuracy, and optimize reporting capabilities. [Required]
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations, with the ability to establish and enforce robust data protection protocols within the compensation function. [Required]
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field [Required]
  • Master's degree [Preferred]
  • 1+ years of experience working in provider compensation [Required]
  • 5+ years of healthcare finance/accounting industry experience [Preferred]

Pay

$60,151.66 - $111,886.39
