Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the field of water resources management
- Develop sustainable water management and planning solutions for existing Federal, State, Municipal, and private clients, as well as marketing new clients
- Provide expertise in Owner's Representative/Program Management, Capital Improvement Planning, Asset Management Planning, Water/Wastewater Master Planning, Smart Utility Programs, Disaster Recovery and Resilience, and Regulatory Compliance
- Lead business development and project execution with emphasis on client development in both public and private sectors
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns
- Support additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering is required
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required
- 15+ years of relevant experience is required
- Experience supporting or leading capture planning and preparing proposals is required
- Experience managing water resource planning studies and engineering is required
- Knowledge of water resource, watershed, and water quality models is strongly preferred
- Candidates must be comfortable using Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Teams
- This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on
- Candidates must be fluent in English, writing and speaking
- Candidates must possess excellent writing capabilities and have experience generating reports suitable for submittal to clients
- Candidates are expected to make verbal presentations supplemented by graphics including the firm's technical capabilities; proposed solutions to client challenges; project findings and recommendations; project status including scope, budget, and schedule
Pay
The salary range for this position is $215,000-245,000. Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including geographic location, qualifications, licensures, certifications, experience, and other skills relevant to the needs of the business.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Most work is anticipated to be office-based, but participating in some site visits is a strong possibility
- Client or company meetings away from the office are very likely
- This position will require travel by car or by air; anticipated to be approximately 20%
- Some trips will require multiple overnight stays
- Occasional trips to project site locations may require the employee to traverse over uneven surfaces and potentially up/down steps or hills
- Employee should be able to lift up to 25 pounds
