Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will coordinate people and processes for multiple or complex projects to ensure they are delivered on time and produce the desired results. This position will develop detailed project plans through extensive planning and cross-collaboration, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time and within budget and scope.
Core Functions
- Develop detailed project plans for multiple complex projects.
- Track progress and milestones to ensure the project will deliver successful results and within budget.
- Track status and timing supporting ongoing supply chain analysis involving near term and long-term supply chain network strategies.
- Facilitate weekly change notice and project meetings.
- Aid in the planning of product development cycle and resource plans for future projects.
- Work with site leadership and vendors to determine availability of resources.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
- Lead weekly project status meeting.
- Serve as a mentor and learning resource for entry level Project Managers to guide and support their growth, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged.
- Ensure compliance to all PMO standards for Project Management (processes, forms, reporting etc.) throughout the Centers of Excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of related experience required.
- PMP certification preferred.
