About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assure safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success.
  • Deliver expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget and schedule performance.
  • Serve as prime point of contact between the client and company.
  • Assure the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
  • Manage and coordinate activities of all project personnel by direct supervision, through subordinates or through joint ventures, alliances, etc.
  • In the proposal phase, work closely with Sales to evaluate and interpret requirements. May serve as a proposal manager.
  • Define precise scope of work and identify changes between the original proposal and final contractual agreement.
  • Negotiate changes with the client.
  • Plan the project execution and revise the plan as necessary and assure adherence to the plan.
  • Keep the client and company advised of project status.
  • Lead the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project.
  • Abide by our business ethics.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in related projects with an average of 15+ years which includes several years of Senior Project Management level experience.
  • Previous experience leading complex, large-scale Data Center and Power Projects with a focus on large-scale energy infrastructure, electrical systems, renewables, and grid modernization.
  • Skills typically required through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and possession of a P.E.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in Guaranteed Max Price, Lump Sum and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
  • Familiarity with national & international power plant standards (ISO, ASME, API, IEC, IEEE, OSHA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of contract management and FIDIC contracts.
