Sr. Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple and large complex projects with multiple work streams
• Create in-depth Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with interdependencies and a defined critical path
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; develop and execute an efficient internal and external communication strategy
• Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders (internal and external)
• Create and maintain resource plans ensuring effective resource allocation and distribution across portfolio of projects
• Utilize project management tools and techniques to improve execution and drive efficiencies
• Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology
• Ensure profitable and successful execution of all assigned engagements as measured by regional goals and customer feedback
• Proactively manage changes in project scope
• Execute risk management plans
• Manage and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects
• Understand and manage key project financial components to ensure projects are delivered within budget
• Ensure quality and timely execution of deliverables across projects

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field required
• A Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science (BA/BS) preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
• Understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze, and create financial reports
• Extensive experience with people management, strategic planning, and change management
• Proven experience with risk management; demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to leadership
• Understanding of and the ability to utilize the process of stakeholder analysis
• Ability to work independently and aggressively track to project timelines
• Proven customer care and interpersonal (soft) skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
• Crisis management & conflict resolution experience
• Adaptability, empathy
• Good understanding of project management tools (CA Clarity & MS Project) and processes to perform duties
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers
• Demonstrated proficiency in project-related finance management
