Sr. Project Manager
About the role
We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning and implementation of a wide variety of projects. The Project Management Office (PMO) for TradeStation sits at the group level and manages projects for both the brokerage side (TradeStation Securities), the technology side (TradeStation Technologies), and subsidiary Group companies as required. The PMO is responsible for managing corporate priority projects from conceptual planning through implementation and reporting on the health and progress to both project stakeholders and our executive team. We work with colleagues from all parts of our organization and get exposure to projects that range from technical integrations to launching new product lines and adding new subsidiaries. Each project is unique and makes us highly visible to different areas of the company.
This is a remote position; you must reside in Florida, Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, or Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Effectively lead and direct multiple global projects to completion by leveraging best practice PMO methodology
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and objectives
- Develop, monitor, and manage all timelines and make detailed reports on progress towards milestones and deliverables
- Create and maintain project artifacts: project plans, working group and steering committee decks, detailed agendas and minutes, stakeholder matrix, RACI, RAID, and closure packets
- Coordinate personnel and oversee task estimation to ensure resource availability and allocation
- Define and execute the project communication plan to ensure ongoing communication of project status is timely and consistent
- Identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
- Proactively engage executive stakeholders, project sponsors, PMO, and project team to ensure project risks and issues are identified, documented, quantified, and communicated early
- Provide necessary information and/or recommendation options in a timely manner to project sponsors on key issues that require decisions impacting project scope, quality, resources, deliverables, timeline, or costs
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes
- Coordinate all project tasks with internal and external teams
- Ensure all projects follow standing financial service audit best practices
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate project reporting, documentation, and risk analysis
Requirements
- University undergraduate level education required as a minimum in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or another related field
- 10+ years of experience in project management in the financial services industry or other related field
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to deliver results
- Distinct blend of business, financial service, and IT experience
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate difficult business and technical concepts in everyday terminology
- Great communication skills to work with people in many locations, articulate and escalate issues, and report on status, risks, and timelines
- Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally in a matrix environment while promoting good working relationships and cultivating trust
- Results-driven with a “get things done” attitude, capable of pushing through roadblocks and finding solutions
- Comfortable holding people accountable for their deliverables, including escalation when necessary
- Desire to continually improve skills and learn new things in a constantly evolving industry
- Capable of handling multiple projects and priorities with minimal oversight from senior management
- Team-oriented with dedication to continual improvement and growth
- AI-fluency: using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Glean as a working partner in daily workflows (drafting minutes/status decks, interrogating project data for risks, pulling institutional knowledge fast), plus the judgment to verify AI output before sharing with sponsors or executives, especially on regulated/audit-scope work
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of products
- Familiar with software development tools such as JIRA
- Sound understanding of Agile and Hybrid development processes
- Demonstrated ability to provide exemplary leadership within an organization
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Demonstrated use of LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) integrated into project tracking and workflow tools to automate reporting, surface risks, and compress cycle time

Pay
Pay Range (US): $150,000–$165,000 (Countries outside of the US have differing ranges in accordance with local labor markets)
