Sr. Project Manager

SP Industries Inc., an ATS company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Warminster, PA. This onsite position requires travel to client locations and supports SP’s strategic goals through high-quality project management execution.

About the role

Lead strategic cross-functional projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met while aligning stakeholders. Strengthen SP’s PMO by standardizing project delivery through tools, templates, governance, and continuous improvement. Provide coaching and leadership to the project manager team in execution, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.

The PMO’s portfolio primarily includes “production” projects for engineering, fabrication, assembly, and testing of food, drug, and chemical batch process capital equipment, both domestically and at global job sites. Additional high-profile projects may involve:

• R&D projects expanding SP’s product portfolio
• Strategic projects focused on cultural, process, or business transformation
• IT projects improving technology infrastructure, systems, or business applications
• CAPEX projects involving facilities, machinery, or non-IT infrastructure investments

This role reports to the Director of Operations/General Manager and operates within a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects within the PMO portfolio, meeting scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
• Travel up to 30% to SP facilities, vendors, and customer sites (including occasional international travel).
• Track and report project performance (schedule, cost, risks, issues, and quality) and lead structured problem-solving to address variances.
• Provide stage gate governance and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, driving clear communication and issue resolution.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, portfolio management, estimating, engineering, service, manufacturing, and leadership to implement standard work and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical, engineering, or science-oriented field).
• Five years of project management experience, including:
• Projects involving manufacturing and fabrication of engineered equipment.
• High-profile R&D, strategic, IT, or CAPEX projects.
• Field installations and commissioning of equipment on-site.
• Direct collaboration with end-users and contractors in a commercial capacity.
• Regular interaction with executive management.
• Continuous improvement and change management of business processes.
