The Senior Project Manager at Primoris Services Corporation will lead and oversee large-scale, complex construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage project teams, stakeholders, and resources effectively.
Job Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget forecasting, and detailed schedules.
Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial targets are met.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
Negotiate contracts, manage change orders, and resolve disputes effectively to protect company interests.
Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, detailing progress, challenges, and financial performance.
Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and handover to clients.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on civil, pipeline, power, or utility infrastructure projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry regulations.
Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
