The Project Management Office (PMO) for TradeStation sits at the group level and manages projects for both the brokerage side (TradeStation Securities), the technology side (TradeStation Technologies), and subsidiary Group companies. The PMO is responsible for managing corporate priority projects from conceptual planning through implementation, reporting on health and progress to stakeholders and the executive team. Projects range from technical integrations to launching new product lines and adding new subsidiaries, offering high visibility across the company.
Responsibilities
- Effectively lead and direct multiple global projects to completion by leveraging best practice PMO methodology.
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and objectives.
- Develop, monitor, and manage all timelines and make detailed reports on progress towards milestones and deliverables.
- Create and maintain project artifacts: project plans, working group and steering committee decks, detailed agendas and minutes, stakeholder matrix, RACI, RAID, and closure packets.
- Coordinate personnel and oversee task estimation to ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Define and execute the project communication plan to ensure timely and consistent communication of project status.
- Identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Proactively engage executive stakeholders, project sponsors, PMO, and project teams to identify, document, quantify, and communicate project risks and issues early.
- Provide necessary information and/or recommendation options to project sponsors on key issues requiring decisions that impact scope, quality, resources, deliverables, timeline, or costs.
- Review proposed modifications to project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
- Coordinate all project tasks with internal and external teams.
- Ensure all projects follow standing financial service audit best practices.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate project reporting, documentation, and risk analysis.
