Sr. Project Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 7+ years of large-scale project/program management experience. Must have experience managing both technology systems and business projects or programs. Insurance or financial services industry experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor, track and report project performance to management and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business customers and stakeholders, understanding their business needs, expectations and objectives.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide project management leadership and facilitation to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate collaboration and transfer business knowledge across project teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of large-scale project/program management experience.
• Experience managing both technology systems and business projects or programs.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred (but not required).
• Experience managing multiple projects from conceptual phase through implementation and testing.

Qualifications

• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong understanding and application of Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Microsoft Project experience preferred.

Pay

$60-$65 per hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week.
