Sr. Project Manager

About the role

Manages all aspects of strategic, complex, cross-functional Sales Force projects for Sales and Service.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and supervise people on the most complex projects.
• Apply strong knowledge of scheduling and organizing projects, using Project Management software such as MS Project.
• Exercise independent judgment and conflict resolution techniques, escalating issues as needed.
• Work effectively and independently amid multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
• Maintain current knowledge of information technology resources applicable to Bloomberg Industry Group’s business environment, including hardware, software, utilities, and techniques.
• Possess strong knowledge of electronic product and/or systems development and implementation methodologies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all stages of the systems and/or product design and software development life cycles.
• Communicate orally and in writing to negotiate, advise, or resolve highly complex issues, including conveying technical information to non‑technical users.
• Exhibit excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Apply budgeting analysis and cost‑control practices.
• Provide timely and effective support to users and first‑line support staff on highly complex problems involving multiple systems.
• Analyze system requirements.
• Function as a technical contributor and internal consultant on projects.

Qualifications

• College degree with coursework in information systems, business, engineering, or equivalent experience required.
• Formal training in project management strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years progressively responsible experience in information systems, including five years of experience managing mid‑sized projects required.
• Experience with product design and/or system software practices in use at Bloomberg Industry Group is strongly desirable.

Pay

Compensation Range: $123,000.00‑$150,000.00 (placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process; salary determination based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, education, certifications, and geographic location).
