Ardurra is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our team in Prescott, AZ! Primary Function: The Senior Project Manager manages the full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of projects and assumes full responsibility for achieving the project goals. This includes managing activities related to project planning, scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, resources, procurement, profit/loss, corrective actions, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. The Senior Project Manager’s overall objective is to deliver value to our clients and to Ardurra, build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for the project. Primary Duties: Planning and ExecutionParticipates in project costing and bid preparation to the extent requiredReview assigned project(s) after award to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, manning tables, vendor lists, and progress billing pointsSubmits documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance review and obtains the various permits requiredManages and minimizes project risks for the interest of ArdurraUses Earned Value Management (EVM) to execute, manage and control projectsEnsures Quality Control reviews are completed at proper milestonesTracks Accounts Receivable and ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely mannerTeam LeadershipForms a project work team and sees that responsibilities are assigned, and execution of tasks are begun and completed according to scheduleBuilds high-performing team and drives for resultsCommunicationEstablishes contractor-client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work progressHolds regularly scheduled project progress review meetings to ensure that:A project contract’s terms, conditions, and specifications are being metProject personnel adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements and company policiesDelays and cost overruns, at best, are entirely avoided, or, at worst, kept to a minimumManpower, equipment, materials, and quality problems are recognized for timely intervention and resolutionOn-site supervision maintains staff morale and interacts appropriately with client counterpartsInformation for progress billing purposes is submitted correctly and on timeMeets with client management as necessary during a project’s terms to resolve issues and at a project’s completion to obtain final client approvalsMaintains a continuing business relationship with major clients as part of ongoing business development efforts Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent10 + years’ experience in their area of expertiseLicensed PE in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain upon hireExperience managing engineering/construction projects of relevant scope and complexityProven track record of successfully managing relevant projects and staffClient management and business development experience Why Ardurra?
