Sr. Project Finance Analyst

About the role

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive portfolio-level financial analysis for Clinical Solutions departments
• Lead financial oversight of projects from initiation through closeout
• Conduct variance analysis to identify changes, risks, and scope creep
• Collaborate with project finance teams to ensure data integrity for portfolio reporting
• Enhance departmental forecasting processes with clear assumptions
• Monitor budget consumption and key performance indicators across portfolios
• Provide insights to support financial decision-making by leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in project finance or operational finance, preferably in a CRO setting
• Experience managing or analyzing clinical trial portfolios and project financials
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Familiarity with Power BI or visualization tools for data presentation

Pay

$100,000 – $120,000 annually
