Sr. Product Quality Engineer

Location: Alameda, CA 94502
Duration: 6-month contract (with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, onsite

About the Role

Support production efforts and process improvements through trend analysis, process validation, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Coordinate In-Process Material Review Board (MRB) activities and ensure Quality Systems compliance by performing audits, improving SOPs, delivering training, and leading CAPA investigations. Oversee the Quality perspective during the transfer of new products from R&D to Production. Apply statistical techniques and SPC interpretation, and present Process Performance Reviews (PPR) and Management Reviews.

Requirements

• Industry experience in an ISO-9001 environment, preferably within the medical-device sector
• Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
