About the role

As a Senior Product Manager for Embedded Software on the Connectivity Product Management team, you will help create and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap of Leo antenna products and services, with a high degree of ownership over critical features and the customer experience. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, operations, finance, business development, and executive teams to define, develop, and launch innovative products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Design APIs/telemetry systems to support devices used by enterprises, mobility providers, and individual consumers.
  • Manage device provisioning, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and fleet-scale monitoring for varied customer segments.
  • Define and drive performance standards, RF/PHY reliability, interoperability for devices deployed in industries ranging from enterprise to consumer.
  • Cook up firmware/hardware releases across multiple hardware systems used by B2B, B2C, and government customers.
  • Customer-Facing UX: Translate technical capabilities into intuitive workflows for business users (B2B/B2B2X) and individual consumers (B2C).
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to validate experiences for all customer personas.

Requirements

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of components, protocols, and interactions across all OSI model layers (Physical to Application), including packet formation, error checking, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), transport mechanisms (TCP/UDP), and application-layer services (HTTP, MQTT).
  • Familiarity with OTA updates, satellite and RF communication, or cloud integration for multi-vertical deployments.

Skills

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
