Sr. Product Manager – Tech, Tablets
Key job responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of a bold, customer-focused product strategy and vision for platform components to manage performance, power management, Customer Identity, and AI experiences to deliver a great holistic customer experience.
Lead initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle—from ideation to development to launch.
Write and clearly communicate thoughtful product strategies to offer the best Android benefits and Amazon's content and services, and translate them into actionable roadmaps.
Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational excellence.
Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
Create buy-in for the product vision and strategy with leadership and internal partners, including Product leads, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, and more.
Drive product launches in partnership with Engineering, Business Development, Go to Market, PR, and other cross-functional teams.
A day in the life
While each day may differ, you will always learn something new, innovate and delight our customers, and grow. You will be the primary advocate of our customers and define the best product experiences for our next generation Amazon Tablets to delight them, while also adding business value. You will own the horizontal system platform software experience, providing detailed guidance to software teams across the entire software stack to deliver a great customer experience with the right technical tradeoffs. This could mean defining a product vision, partnering with engineering to optimize the product, or identifying ways to address customer feedback.
