About the role

The ideal candidate will lead strategic initiatives, work with internal and external stakeholders, and drive the customer shopping experience for Shoes, Handbags, and Eyewear on Amazon.

Responsibilities

• Launch, streamline, and build products, programs, processes, and tools to improve shopping for Shoes, Handbags, and Eyewear on Amazon.
• Work closely with technology and marketing partners to build an elevated experience to inspire more customers and grow market segment share in activity-based shoe categories such as 'running'.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to decrease returns (improving size, fit and compatibility), scale visual evaluation, improve search ranking, increase Rufus accuracy and understanding of shoes-specific diction, advance catalog improvements, and collaborate with other global teams to ensure GL309 is up-to-date with the latest advancements in analytics and GenAI.

Requirements

• Prior product management and technical experience with a strong understanding of cross-category stakeholder teams.
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery and feature delivery.
• Experience as a product manager or owner.
• Experience owning technology products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
