Sr Product Management Specialist
About the Role
This position combines deep product knowledge with strategic oversight, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance product performance, meet market demands, and support overall business objectives. The role is based in Atlanta, GA or Northford, CT with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) process and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launch of new products.
- Support strategies for new product introductions that align with market needs and business goals, providing insights and recommendations based on market research and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and integration of new products, facilitating effective communication and resolving issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the NPI process, addressing complex technical issues to ensure new products meet quality and performance standards.
- Support product testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing issues during testing.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure new products are well-positioned in the market and supported with appropriate training and materials.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to new product introductions and prepare reports on project status, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback on new products and utilize it to drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify potential issues during the NPI phase, develop solutions, and implement strategies to prevent future issues for a smooth product launch.
- Travel up to 20%.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in product management, new product introduction, or a related role.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching offerings.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience managing NPI projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Technical knowledge related to product development and introduction processes.
- Ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency with project management and product management tools.
- Experience in a global organization.
- Experience guiding offering management teams.
- Strong market research skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
