About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced geospatial technologies to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain geospatial applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test geospatial solutions.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software.
• Support project management activities, including requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field.
• Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, and other relevant geospatial technologies.
• Familiarity with geospatial data models and geospatial database systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and visualization techniques.
• Experience with geospatial data modeling and database systems.
• Understanding of geospatial algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of geospatial data formats and interoperability standards.
• Experience with geospatial data analysis tools and libraries.
