Sr. Product Compliance Engineer (Starlink)
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end product compliance and global market access for Starlink hardware (EMC, Safety, Radio, and Environmental)
- Collaborate with design teams to embed compliance requirements early in the development cycle
- Manage relationships with test labs, Notified Bodies, and certification agencies worldwide
- Own technical construction files and support global regulatory submissions
- Identify and resolve complex compliance issues across safety, EMC, RF, and materials
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in and engineering or STEM discipline
- 5+ years of experience in compliance and certification engineering (internship experience is applicable)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product compliance engineering
- Broad experience across EMC, Product Safety, RF/Wireless, and Environmental compliance
- Hands-on experience with FCC, CE, UL, IEC, EN, RED, RoHS, REACH and related standards
- Demonstrated success certifying consumer electronics or telecommunications equipment for global markets
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new regulations and standards
- Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical/regulatory topics for engineering audiences
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission critical deadlines
