Sr. Product Applications & Development Technologist (Beverages)

Responsibilities
A. Own end-to-end delivery of customer projects, managing scope, timelines, and risks to meet technical and commercial objectives. Lead complex programs for strategic and/or large customers and lead customer co-creation sessions.
B. Take on special tasks and cross-functional initiatives to support BU objectives.
C. Lead development of differentiated beverage prototypes (e.g., water, coffee, tea, dairy, carbonated, juice, alcoholic, functional) that translate Marketing insights and BU strategy into customer-ready solutions. Develop robust formulas and total beverage systems that balance performance, processing, cost-in-use, and quality. Stay current on ingredients, technologies, and processing to proactively enable new opportunities.
D. Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, providing expert guidance from concept through commercialization. Resolve complex formulation and scale-up challenges by applying advanced knowledge of flavors, technologies, processing, and ingredient functionality.
E. Travel to customer sites to support technical presentations, workshops or commercialization activities.
F. Provide technical coaching, training, and mentoring to elevate team capability, promote best practices, and strengthen overall technical excellence.
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in food science (or related), MS degree preferred.
Five to Eight years of experience in beverage applications or beverage product development. Experience working through the entire product development & commercialization cycle &/or working for a CPG company is a plus.
Deep expertise in multiple beverage areas, plus broad knowledge of ingredients and various processing technologies.
Broad knowledge of beverage finished product manufacturing.
Knowledgeable of HACCP/Food Safety practices.
Proven ability to interpret and translate Customer & Marketing direction into winning Beverage concepts.
Qualifications

Pay
The expected annual salary range for this position is USD $96,000.00 - USD $135,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
