About the role
The Sr. Process Engineer (Development Support) position at Themis Insight supports a customer Program Management Office (PMO) overseeing a large multi-organizational agile software development project. The role involves providing process engineering support to plan and execute systems engineering and agile development processes.
Responsibilities
- Supports a customer Program Management Office (PMO) overseeing a large multi-organizational agile software development project.
- Provides process engineering support to plan and execute systems engineering and agile development processes.
- Plans and executes agile development projects.
- Communicates effectively within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected schedules.
- Works within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
- Analyzes design and implementation alternatives, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
- Analyzes functional, system, and non-functional requirements, data flows, and dependencies.
- Defines, develops, and documents operational support concepts leading to development and implementation of requirements, specifications, and design plans.
- Exhibits strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Desired: Experience with SAFe/Agile methodology and prior experience as a Product Owner/Scrum Master on an agile/scrum team.
Requirements
- Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university is required.
- Required: Ten (10) years of experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Required: Five (5) years' experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
- Preferred: Four (4) additional years of process engineering experience in lieu of a qualifying college degree.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university is required.
- Four (4) additional years of process engineering experience in lieu of a qualifying college degree.

- Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.

- Architecture experience (DoDAF).
- Defining, developing, and documenting operational support concepts leading to development and implementation of requirements, specifications, and design plans.
- SAFe/Agile methodology & Prior experience as a Product Owner/Scrum Master on an agile/scrum team.
