Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and manage system requirements.
- Revises and manages both original and revised specification/interface definition document and expedites documents through signature approval process.
- Supports system design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, failure/anomaly resolution and mission operations.
- Supports the testing and/or evaluation/validation of one or more components of a system or subsystem analytical model or actual system implementation.
- Attends and prepares materials for presentation during System Requirement Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review and System Verification Review.
- Supports trade studies, system sensitivity studies, design optimization studies, system performance assessments, system design assessments, mission analysis and timelines and concept of operations development.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment supporting an Integrated Product Team.
Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree and 6 years of related experience, or PhD with 4 years of related experience.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Maintain this level of clearance for continued employment.
- 2 years experience with DOORS requirements managements tool.
- 2 years experience process and Procedure writing experience.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools (eg, Cameo).
- Understanding of Statement of Work and other contractual documents.
- Experience writing statements of work and estimating project scope.
- Experience in problem-solving skills.
- Experience in performing failure analysis and driving implementation of robust corrective action.
- Experience in generating product test plans, leading tests as Test Engineer and generating comprehensive test reports for internal and external customer distribution.
- Experience in problem-solving skills.
- Good organization skills – Ability to coordinate multiple projects.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present complex technical concepts to project, program, and company management, other technical managers, and customers.
