Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable and easily managed services for IoT security products to exchange IoT intelligences and extend system functionality through integrations with third-party systems like ServiceNow, SIEMs, and Cisco/ISE.
• Design and implement highly scalable and high-performance services to support IoT devices’ operational technology.
• Design and implement IoT Security Web Service APIs using NodeJS and SQL/NoSQL database technology to provide key metrics and analytics for IoT devices.
• Design and implement algorithms for Device Security event connector and inspector management services to transfer customer network data into the cloud for storage and analytics at scale.
• Design and implement data pipelines to support IoT security features like device identification, alert publishing, and device status tracking.

The Team

As part of the IoT security cloud infrastructure team, you’ll be working on building our state-of-the-art real-time data analytics system and high-performance serving system. You won’t find someone at Palo Alto Networks who isn’t committed to your success—with everyone pitching in to assist when it comes to solutions, learning, and development.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 5–10 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of working experience with Amazon AWS, Google GCP, or MS Azure.
• Experience building large-scale distributed serving systems.
• 5–10 years of software development experience with NodeJS/JAVA/Python.
• Experience with Linux and Shell scripting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Great problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MongoDB, Kafka/Firehose, Redis, Spark/Spark Streaming/Spark SQL, Redshift, or other data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of Network Domain.
• Experience in building real-time analytics systems or machine learning systems.
• Experience in Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, Graph Data Lakehouse.

Pay

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $147,000.00 – $237,500.00 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
