Safety Leadership

Project Execution

• Manage subcontractors to execute tasked repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

Team Collaboration and Communication

• Cookordinate efforts of Subcontractors and Ships Force to proactively solve issues.
• Keep the Desk Man and other team members apprised of issues and resolutions.

Continuous Improvement

• Follow BIW Business Operating System principles and productivity enhancements.

Unique/Additional Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong computer, oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
• Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet ship’s operational schedule demands.
• Maintain a valid Passport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• Sr. Fleet Service Engineer 5+ years’ experience required.
• Principal Fleet Service Engineer 10+ years’ experience required.
• (5+) years of collective experience in Marine Engineering, USN or Commercial Fleet Lifecycle Support in the areas of maintenance and repair.
• In-depth knowledge of DDG-51 Class Destroyers, along with experience gained in a Navy waterfront maintenance environment.

• Able to work independently and/or as a member of a team.

Benefits
