Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer

Sr. Principal DevOps/Platform Engineer: $200–250K San Diego Metropolitan Area (on-site) We’re working with a big name in the deep tech space in their search for a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer with a very high level of autonomy. This is a hybrid position in the San Diego area. Because the client does a significant amount of work with the U.S. federal government, we can only consider U.S. citizens and Green Card holders at this time. What we’re looking for in a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer: 10 years’ experience in the software engineering field, with a focus on DevOps/SREExpert-level expertise in containerization/orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, etc.Very strong scripting and/or programming experience: Python, Go, Bash, etc.Extensive experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environmentsHighly proficient with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, AnsibleExtensive experience building and releasing CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHubExperience with cloud security and compliance best practices and DevSecOpsHigh level of autonomy and agency, with the ability to work with little directionBachelor’s degree in a STEM field
