Sr Principal Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data architecture standards using Snowflake
• Collaborate with SAP data teams for seamless data ingestion from various sources
• Develop scalable data modeling frameworks for enterprise data products
• Establish standards for data performance, cost optimization, and security in Snowflake
• Guide integration with Power BI and other analytics platforms for effective data delivery
• Mentor engineering teams on Snowflake data patterns and performance tuning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture with a focus on Snowflake and AWS
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques (3NF, dimensional)
• Experience with data integration tools like Informatica or Matillion
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake performance optimization and governance best practices
