Responsibilities
- Designs and develops high-quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Led the application of internal software deployment platform, continuous integration or continuous delivery pipeline, and twelve-factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
- PARTNERS WITH A CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAM OF PRODUCT MANAGERS, DESIGNERS, AND OTHER ENGINEERS TO GATHER COMPLEX REQUIREMENTS AND DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT MEET BUSINESS NEEDS.
- Writes and maintains complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software, applying test-driven development as needed.
- RECOMMENDS OPTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT PROCESSES, AND IMPLEMENTS THE APPROVED STANDARDS TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY.
- CREATES AND MAINTAINS COMPREHENSIVE DOCUMENTATION FOR COMPLEX SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, DEPLOYMENT PROCESSES, AND SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS.
- PROVIDES TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND TRoubleshooting FOR COMPLEX ISSUES WITH DEPLOYED APPLICATIONS TO ENSURE MINIMAL DOWNTIME AND FAST RESOLUTION.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Weblogics WebSphere Webhosting Technologies Automation and Scripting and CI/CD integration
Preferred Skills
- Deep expertise in IBM WebSphere and/or Oracle WebLogic administration, including clustering, performance tuning, and secure configurations.
- Strong knowledge of web hosting technologies (Apache, IIS) and reverse proxy/load balancing (IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, NGINX or equivalent).
- Experience with automation and scripting (wsadmin, WLST, Python, Shell) and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with security best practices, SSL/TLS, authentication (LDAP, SSO), and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in monitoring and performance optimization using tools like AppDynamics or Datadog.
- Exposure to cloud hosting and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for middleware workloads.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to lead complex platform initiatives.
