About the role
This role is hybrid, allowing employees to work both in and out of the office. The Sr Platform Appian Engineer II supports the BPM Enablement Platform team in Newport Beach, CA.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Technology and Business teams to understand business process and requirements and provide end-user support.
- Partner with IT and functional areas to develop simple, effective, and innovative solutions to simplify workflow processes.
- Ensure the smooth operation of Investments Appian applications by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying necessary updates and patches.
- Identify areas for process improvement within existing Investments Appian applications and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Aid in the creation and review of programming documentation and recommend changes in development, maintenance, and application standards.
- Perform process development and testing/debugging, using best practices to ensure minimal maintenance.
- Conduct knowledge sharing sessions of the Investments Appian applications with other Appian Platform resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, information technology, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience designing and developing BPM Applications.
- Appian Level 2 and/or 3 Certification.
- Software development experience (.NET, Java, Visual Basic, C#, etc.).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.
- Experience with Appian Admin console, administration of application servers.
- Familiarity with Appian Integrations, Appian Plug-Ins.
- Familiarity with MS-SQL or equivalent.
- Experience working in an Agile team environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Appian, BPM, or other Workflow Development.
- Experience working with Azure pipelines, and AWS.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Appian Platform.
- Ability to work in an Agile team environment.

Pay
$125,100.00 - $152,900.00
