SR Physical Therapist FT McAllen
Responsibilities
Senior Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluation and assessment, treatment planning, patient and family education, and the delivery of habilitative and rehabilitative services for individuals with physical impairments, functional limitations, or conditions affecting mobility and overall function. This role also supports program management responsibilities, contributing to the coordination and quality of rehabilitation services. Some travel may be required to provide services across multiple facilities and support various job-related functions.
Qualifications
- Must have and maintain current BLCS certification
- Must be able to travel to STHS facilities as needed in job
- Membership in professional organization preferred
- Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer
Education / Licensure
- Must be a graduate of a Doctoral program in Physical Therapy
- Licensure in the State of Texas as Physical Therapist is required, or has a valid temporary Physical Therapy license for the State of Texas while waiting to receive the permanent license
- Five or more years of clinical esperience as a Licensed Physical Therapist preferred
- Must have and maintain current BCLS certification, according to unit specific needs
- Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider’s Program
